BTC TOURNAMENTS

The BTC has a proud tradition of hosting professional and amateur tournaments throughout the years. In the past it has served as the venue for the Davis Cup, the Pacific Coast Championships and many others.

The Pacific Coast Seniors Championships is now an ITF Level IV event and has brought in competitors from all over the world. The event’s planners expect at least as many this April. Categories for Men and Women will include Singles and Doubles for age groups from 35 to 80.

In the Fall, the BTC holds its annual Club Tournament which will crown the Club’s men and women’s singles and doubles champions. This year's Club Doubles Tournament was a huge success with a record entry of 120. Two days of play in 8 different flights gave everyone a chance for multiple matches, including a back draw.

2014 BTC Club Tournament Winners

California Centenary Club Championships
Berkeley Tennis Club inaugurated the California Centenary Club Championships on July 19, 2014 between The Berkeley Tennis Club and The California Tennis Club. This event kicked off a friendly competition between the only two centenarian tennis clubs west of the Mississippi with expectations of its continuation for another century and a special thanks to Elizabeth Brook for its creation.
